The STO Academy uses Discord as it's primary souce for voice chat. Below is a list of text and voice channels for our private Discord server.

| #join_request | Text | New users to Discord will enter their STO @handle here so the Admiralty can grant them access. |
| #fleet_chat | Text | The standard text chat for Discord. Primary text chat will still be in game. |
| Mess Hall | Voice | All fleet members have access to this voice chat. It is used for general discussions and fun. Please do not use this if running a mission with a team. |
| Briefing Room | Voice | Push-to-talk only room. Used for meetings with the fleet. Please do not use this for any other reason. |

| Frequency 1486 | Voice | Five person room for any team mission. |
| Frequency 2010 | Voice | Five person room for any team mission. |
| Frequency 6128 | Voice | Twenty person room for any team mission. |
| Frequency 8789 | Voice | Twenty person room for any team mission. |
